2002: ROBERT COTTINGHAM FOR THE BAROLO RISERVA VILLERO 1996

2002: ROBERT COTTINGHAM FOR THE BAROLO RISERVA VILLERO 1996 Finally, six years after the last vintage this “Riserva” was produced, we are especially happy to confirm the upcoming availability of our most precious and unique Barolo.

As you know, the Barolo Riserva Villero, in addition to being bottled exclusively in special vintages, also belongs to our “wine with art label” collection; that means that each bottle is wearing the label of an original engraving made by the Artist particularly for one edition and used exclusively for one vintage.

The Artist who made the piece of art for the “1996 BAROLO RISERVA VILLERO” is Robert COTTINGHAM, one of the most important and well known American realistic painters. His art has been exhibited at: the Art Institute of Chicago, the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Museum of Modern Art of New York, the Hamburg Museum in Germany, The Art Council of Great Britain, the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden.

This label was produced for 3873 bottles.
