The Arneis accompanies Vietti in its history, determining from birth its pioneering vocation and inclination for a wide production based on the autochthonous Piedmontese vines beyond the borders of the “Langa del Barolo”.
So it is since 1967 that we produce in purity what today is universally recognized as the most illustrious white wine in the area, from the heart of its territory: Santo Stefano Roero.
There, the vineyards enjoy clayey and limestone soils of more recent geological formation, and therefore with very high percentages of sand. All of these are at the base of an elegance, a minerality and an aromatic subtlety that we try to keep as faithful as possible to the terroir along the entire chain: from manual harvesting, to soft pressing until aging, uniquely in steel.
This guarantees Roero Arneis DOCG to be an easy drink, especially if tasted young.
As a result, the combination with cruditès, crustaceans and raw fish in general comes naturally: the mineral notes of the wine and the flavor of fresh fish match perfectly.
An ideal bottle for aperitifs, which is quite versatile in summer and can accompany creamy canapés and fresh cheeses, as well as simple and light dishes.
