Piccolo Derthona

Designation: Colli Tortonesi D.O.C Bianco

Grape variety: Timorasso 100%

The grapes come from the youngest vineyards located in the municipalities of Vho and Monleale.

Winemaking: manual and sequential harvesting in order to bring grapes to the winery at their optimal ripeness. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks without contact with the skins, at a temperature of approximately 12–16°C. Malolactic fermentation is not carried out.

Ageing: the wine ages on fine lees for 4 months in the same containers used for fermentation.

Description: in the glass, it appears clear, with a straw yellow color and greenish reflections. On the nose, it opens with a fresh, floral, and citrusy bouquet. On the palate, it is dry, vibrant, and savory, with medium body, pronounced acidity, and excellent balance. It is the freshest, most immediate, and lowest-alcohol Timorasso wine among our Colli Tortonesi production.
